Marc was absolutely amazing in helping me with my first buy-to-let mortgage. He was very helpful in asking me questions to understand my requirements before then helping to advise me on the best approach. I had approached 4 different brokers, but honestly Marc was by far and away the best amongst the lot. Not only was he completely transparent (he sent me documents with all the available rates whereas some of the other brokers only sent me their 'preferred' option), but he was also unique in that he does not take a payment from the client (this is almost unheard of amongst brokers). I also really appreciated Marc taking the extra time to offer me advice from a business perspective (he even explained the legal requirements and elements that really my solicitor should have been talking to me about) and he made the whole process seem less daunting for a complete novice, including communicating with me when on holiday and taking my calls at the weekend in order to hit a deadline with one of the mortgage companies. I have no hesitation in recommending MK Mortgages and indeed have already recommended and introduced him to colleagues and friend.

Amazing service and no fees!!Marc and the team have been absolutely amazing guiding us through the process of re-mortgaging our own home and also securing a buy to let property. They really take the time to get to know you like with a full consultation process which they don’t charge a penny for. As their fee comes direct from the mortgage company once everything has gone through, they are really invested in delivering the right product for you and your personal situation.As a result of the consultation phase Marc gets you to think about your 2,5, 10yr plans and then tailors the product selection offered to you around your goals (e.g. if you need to release equity in 3 years to fund a wedding he won’t tie you into a 5yr mortgage). It can all be a little bit daunting but Marc really takes the time to explain the jargon and if things aren’t entirely straight forward he’ll have a Plan B ready for you. I absolutely would not go anywhere else and cannot recommend MK Mortgages highly enough.
